Guidelines for the Storage and Management of Received Stainless Steel Tubes

Stainless Steel Tube: Delivery Inspection

Upon receipt of the stainless steel tubes, they should be inspected immediately. Check if the packaging is intact and if the surface of the pipes and fittings has any scratches, oil stains, or damage. Ensure the quantity matches the order and that the quality meets the standards.

Stainless Steel Tube: Storage Environment

The storage area should be a dry, clean, and well-ventilated warehouse to avoid moisture, oil stains, dust, and other contaminants.

  • The warehouse should be far from toxic gases, dust, and corrosive substances to ensure the safety of the storage environment.

  • Protective measures should be in place in the storage area, such as using wooden or painted carbon steel racks, or rubber pads to prevent the stainless steel tubes from direct contact with the ground or other metals.

Stainless Steel Tube: Storage Method

  • Stainless steel tubes should be stacked on designated storage racks, with stacking layers not exceeding 5 layers to avoid deformation or damage due to excessive stacking height.

  • Pipes and fittings should be stored separately to avoid mixing, making it easy to find and use.

  • For stainless steel tubes with plastic protective layers, direct exposure to sunlight should be avoided to prevent deterioration of the protective film.

Stainless Steel Tube: Safety Management

  • Regularly inspect the storage area to ensure there are no safety hazards.

  • The stainless steel tube storage area should have clear signs and warning labels to remind operators to pay attention to safety.

  • Operators should wear appropriate protective gear, such as gloves and safety helmets, to prevent accidents.

Stainless Steel Tube: Regular Inspection

  • Regularly inspect the stainless steel tubes to ensure there are no scratches, oil stains, or damage on the pipes and fittings' surfaces.

  • Check if the packaging is intact and replace it immediately if damaged.

  • Record data on the storage environment, such as temperature and humidity, to ensure the storage environment meets the requirements.

Stainless Steel Tube: Outbound Management

  • When stocking out, follow the first-in, first-out principle to ensure the quality of pipes and fittings.

  • Before stocking out, inspect the pipes and fittings again to ensure the quantity and quality are correct.

  • Fill out the outbound sheet during stock out, recording relevant information such as the outbound time, quantity, and usage.

By following these regulations, the standardized and normalized management of stainless steel tube receipt and storage can be ensured, improving storage efficiency and ensuring the quality and safety of the pipes and fittings.
